Who is responsible for the data
Kalliox is the controller of the data submitted through this form. Questions and requests about this notice can be sent to contato@kalliox.com.
Data collected
Name, work email, institution, job title (optional), subject, and message text, all of which you fill in. On submission, the record also stores the date and time, the language of the page from which you submitted the form, and the browser identifier (user agent), which the browser itself provides. Please do not include third-party data, sensitive personal data, or confidential information in your message.
Purpose
We use this data exclusively to reply to your inquiry and to follow up on the conversation you started. We do not use it for marketing or add it to mailing lists.
Legal basis
The processing is based on your consent (art. 7, item I, of the LGPD), given when you check the authorization box on the form. You can revoke it at any time, free of charge, by writing to contato@kalliox.com (art. 8, § 5); revocation does not affect processing carried out before it.
Form security
To protect the form against automated or repeated submissions, the source IP address may be used temporarily to limit attempts within a short interval. This use is based on the legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (art. 7, item IX, of the LGPD) and serves no other purpose.
Retention
We keep the data for as long as necessary to reply to your inquiry and for up to 12 months from submission; the stored record is automatically deleted at the end of that period. If you revoke your consent before then, we will delete the data when we fulfill your request, except where retention is authorized under art. 16 of the LGPD.
Sharing and storage
We do not sell or assign your data. The contact record is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS), in the São Paulo region, in Brazil. A copy of the message is sent, through the AWS email service, to Kalliox’s corporate email inbox, hosted by Hostinger, which may process the data outside Brazil (art. 33 of the LGPD). These providers act only to operate the form and to enable us to reply to your inquiry.
Cookies and analytics tools
This site uses a single cookie, the language cookie described in the next section, and no other. It does not use any tools for audience analytics, advertising, or tracking.
Language cookie
The kx_lang cookie is functional: it stores the language you choose on the site (pt, en, or es), so that the home page opens in that language on your next visits. It is set only when you choose a language in the language selector or in one of the language options on the error page (page not found), lasts up to 12 months (some browsers keep it for less time), is read only by the site itself, does not identify you, and is not used for tracking. Without that choice, no cookie is set: when you open the home page, the site follows the language preferences that your browser itself reports. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under art. 18 of the LGPD, you may request: confirmation that we process your data; access to it; correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data; anonymization, blocking, or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive, or processed in noncompliance with the LGPD; portability; deletion of the data processed based on consent; information about whom we share it with; information about the possibility of not giving consent and about the consequences of refusing; and revocation of consent. You may also file a complaint with the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
How to exercise your rights
Send your request to contato@kalliox.com from the email address used on the form, or state that address in your message. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before fulfilling the request.
